‘Get Smart through Art’ is one of many thematic art projects I have devised - geared for primary children working at Key Stage 2. Creative activities link with the teaching of formal subjects using imaginative and inspirational ideas.
Click on the links to see photographs and feedback from the pilot of winter 2008. You will note that all artwork is two dimensional. Many techniques involve using freehand. Tips are provided to engage the child in an artistic experience using collage, pastels, acrylic and watercolour paints and wax crayon.
